Our designer pool table, model Arc, was delivered to France in December. It is a simply fantastic item, built to the very highest standards, and precisely engineered so that it can be put together simply and easily.

There are so many amazing features of the table, and so much has been thought through - the hidden-but-adjustable feet, the table-tennis top with felt underlay to prevent it scratching the table, the tongue and groove on the table tennis top to stop it sliding apart, the cushioning in the pockets for the balls, the pocket box big that you never have to fish balls out because the pockets are full.

The style of the table is spectacular, and it really sets off the room. This is a magnificent item - not cheap, but worth every penny. We will cherish ours forever!

I was needing to replace my pool table and looking for something of good quality to double up as a dining table. When I first saw the roll-over design it was clear it could be exactly what I was looking for, but I was rather nervous about finding anyone with the craftsmanship skills to build to the standard I wanted. Chris and Tim invited me to visit their workshop where we could not only see the construction design, reinforcement and roll over mechanism in detail, but also feel how a (partially finished) table actually operated. The passion and enthusiasm they had towards their work, combined with their evident skill was sufficient to convince us to place the order - for a Farmhouse Rollover in Oak, plus matching bench. The table has just been delivered, and so far has lived up to every expectation: a beautiful finish and wonderfully easy/smooth mechanism. Swapping between pool and dining mode is a doddle and only needs one person. I would readily recommend, and we found our visit to the workshop for us was hugely reassuring that we were ordering a quality item, that whilst not cheap is excellent value for money.

I spent quite some time researching pool tables and companies that sell them and after visiting a couple of large retailers, I left unimpressed.
Then found Designer Billiards, visited Chris at Great Bedwyn and immediately found what I was looking for.
A hand built table, made by craftsmen that know what they are doing and care passionately about their craft.
I love my table, which they built to my exact specification regarding pocket type, inlays, table height, type of wood, finish of wood and cloth.
They cater for all budgets and tastes and I can thoroughly recommend their work and also aftercare service.

I saw the design for this table and knew immediately it was just what we wanted. We need a project table to work on by day and then a pool table at night. Chris (one of the owners) and his crew arrived to install it. A nicer bunch of guys are hard to find. Installation was a joy. The table looks great (see pictures), the mechanism is great and easy to use, the table is dead solid when locked into both positions ( which was a worry before delivery) and the table plays like a dream (you just don't get a true travel on pub tables) I cant recommend this table enough if you want a good looking, well made and the ability to change it into a good looking ordinary table.

This company couldn’t do more to help and assist my purchase of a Spartan Rollover Pool Table. I strongly recommend a visit to their office near Bristol and have a go on their tables. The Spartan Rollover Table beats everything and is the best gift I have ever bought myself (without wheels!). I had mine made from Oak with Ash inlay which suits my room. It looks fabulous and when friends visit they remark on the table.....only at the end of the meal do they get to see why I changed my dining table! I would strongly recommend this company to anyone wanting to consider such a welcome addition to their home or office.

This brilliant and space saving design has been around for centuries. The ‘rollover’ concept originates from the Victorians and has evolved through the years. Designer Billiards has brought it into the 21st century, modernising the design and mechanism.
Wow your friends or unsuspecting dinner guests by revealing the hidden transformation from the dining table to a spectacular pool table. Pool and dining heights are often compromised in other tables, but the Spartan Rollover and been designed to not only accommodate standard chairs but to deliver a standard dining height and the official pool playing height.

It boasts a tournament quality, precision ground true Italian slate bed with official World Eightball Federation specifications.

The rollover features a safety mechanism which entails a Rack and Pinion gear system, including soft close dampers and pressurized cylinders to counterbalance the weight, resulting in smooth and effortless rotation from dining to pool table.

The Rollovers already impressive 7’ 5” (2.2m) dining table can now be extended to a massive 11’2” (3.4m) perfect for certain occasion’s or even a large conference table. Four removable bars can be slotted into the table that support to extension tops using the cantilever effect. (see images below)
